Why I Refuse to Use Fear to Sell — and What I Do Instead

How do you talk about your offers right now without feeling like you’re exploiting people’s fear?

Real answer: you stop using fear as a sales tool.

You don’t stop selling.

If your copy sounds like:

“Everything is collapsing, you NEED my program or you’re screwed”

→ that’s exploitation.

If your offer:

genuinely stabilizes people,

would matter in any climate,

and doesn’t depend on panic to convert,

then selling it is not predatory. It’s responsible.

Here’s a simple test:

“Would I still stand behind this offer if things calmed down tomorrow?”

If the answer is yes, sell it.

Name what’s happening.

Use calm language.

Give people a clean “no” or “not now.”

You’re not required to starve your business to prove you’re a good person.
