The Goal I Failed Miserably… and What It Taught Me
Nov 21, 2025
I failed. I set a goal in my business this year that I missed MISERABLY and I was so embarrassed. This summer, I launched Human V2.0.
I started with a goal of making my income for the rest of the year.
My intuition told me to reach higher. I doubled it. She told me to 6x that. She told me to shoot for $1.2 M.
I balked. Not only would that have been my highest income in a year, but she wanted me to make it in a month.
I didn’t have the audience, the ad spend or the connections that would make that possible.
Then it hit me: OH! I’m supposed to be a real life testimonial in action and show people how magical my method is.
I have so many (like hundreds) of magical overnight millionaire testimonials from unlikely odds - it was finally time for my story.
And reaching for a goal that unlikely unlocked something in me that I hadn’t touched before.
So many things lined up, so many people hopped on board to help me promote my launch event. But the numbers kept falling short.
By my launch event, I knew I wasn’t going to hit my goal, so I released myself back to my original goal.
And I only hit half.
I had promised my community I would do a follow up event to talk about my launch, and how magical it was. And all I felt was shame. Embarrassment.
I had a dark night of the soul AS I was launching my (INCREDIBLE) program: does it even work? Am I a fraud? Did I just sign people up for a snake oil pitch and they’re going to realize I’m a phony?
Luckily, my modality DOES work… it works so well that people were having lifetime-long shifts within 24 hrs of the program starting.
But I was still licking my wounds. Nursing my heart. Piecing my shattered expectations back together.
I know life doesn’t work in a straight line. I know sometimes we are set on a path not BECAUSE of where it’s heading, but because of what we will learn while we are on it.
But fuck! Did it have to feel so humiliating???
These were some of my late night thoughts.
But here’s what happened that I never could have anticipated in my wildest dreams:
Because of stretching myself so much wider to receive, my global mission dropped in. Everything crystallized. I knew why I was born.
And even deeper, I remembered making the plan before I got here. I remember seeding it into my favorite books and movies to jar something loose, a piece of the puzzle that would click into place when the timing was right.
I created the healing world’s next modality.
That was not my goal. My goal was to help people shift out of scarcity mindset on a local level.
Turns out, this mission was global too.
The group- Human V2.0 surpassed every single one of my WILDEST expectations. 500+ testimonials. 55 people. 14 weeks. Those numbers are unarguable.
So I set off to legitimize my modality - Miracle Coding - and we were approved to start clinical trials next year.
A plan to help people lower their tax liability and raise their social impact dropped in, and The Conscious Collective was born.
We created a way to reduce people’s taxable income by allocating business resources toward qualified services and verifiable impact projects that provide measurable business benefit.
Our platform pairs vetted business-development services with social-impact funding. Clients receive growth programs and tangible deliverables for their companies, while the collective directs an equivalent portion of that spend to community projects.
I stepped into the AMAZING and well resourced world of co-operatives, responsible for moving $3.2 Trillion of the world’s money through social impact based business structures and community based living.
I decided that all living expenses should be free for all and built a plan to get there.
I created a plan to create a global fund to resource social impact projects: with $100B of resources available.
I decided to create a community of HNWI & UHNWI to share resources and help humanity get where we are going. One of the off-shoots of that is a website/ channel/ podcast where I interview people who have made multiple millions plus and have them share candidly where they lost everything (and how many times), their mistakes, their missteps and what had to shift for them to get to the next level.
A key marker for people in this category is resilience. Not giving up at the first (or second or third) blow.
Side note: in a casual conversation with one of these such people, he mentioned he lost everything 20+ times before he was 30. And everything equated to 85% of his entire net wealth.
I walked up to my goal to make $1.2 Million for myself.
And I walked away to make $100 Billion for the world and redistribute global resources.
A failure, my love, is never simply that.
