Well… “feud” implies two people are fighting.

This is more like he angrily demands me to check my mailbox every day, and I ignore him. (Because… let’s be realistic)

A couple of weeks ago it escalated and he took my mail to the post office so I could be scolded by a supervisor. Apparently he recalls doing this to me before - that is not my experience. Maybe it was a different timeline. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went to go pick it up today, and they’d returned it all to sender…

Before it even hit the maximum hold date of 30 days (which you can clearly see on the card in the picture). He had my mail blocked. In order to get it unblocked I had to fill out a “new resident” card.

Which … was definitely a dick move designed to punish me for my impudence and lack of playing by the rules.

And I tried to get mad. I really did.

Like for quite a few minutes.

But I’m just not 🤷🏻‍♀️

The only thing I could think of was “Oh my stars!! Now I don’t have a mountain of spam and credit card offers to sort through. Whatever will I do now?”

People are angry right now. They’re going to lash out at you for things you didn’t do. React disproportionately to things you did.

They’re going to take things personally, they’re going to misunderstand you, and there’s nothing you can do to prevent it.

The only thing you can do is decide how you’re going to spend your precious life force energy. Your precious time. Your precious bandwidth.

Are you going to get in the mud with them and demand justice?

Or will you just continue with your life knowing it’s not about you and spend your energy on things that really matter?
