For context, I’m tired of watching groups of people tolerate being treated with less respect than they deserve.

So I decided to start two free group chats where I share daily lessons of empowerment and manifestation (because for many, their sense of self-worth is directly related to their financial status) - one in English, one in Spanish.

My Spanish one is EXPLODING. I have almost 1000 people in my group chat in 2 weeks and they are SO EXCITED. Asking me every day for some Spanish versions of my other teachings, super supportive and chatty with each other. We shared my YouTube channel with them, since you can watch the videos with captions of your spoken language and many of them reported to have watched all my videos within a couple of days.

Each time I log in to share something (which is daily), there are over 500 missed messages 😅

Since I don’t read Spanish, I decided to hire someone from the group to support me in making sure all questions are answered and any predatory behavior is swiftly addressed and removed.

This morning she expressed that she is concerned that I am a scam.

And at first, I was so offended.

Here was a gift of love I was offering, and it was being met with suspicion by someone I was trying to pay money to! 😟

That is when I took a step back.

I am offering to pay her 3 times more than minimum wage to work 25% of the time she would work to make that money, doing something she is already an active participant in and she is enjoying, that is easy.

I am doing that for a group that I am spending hundreds of dollars a month on ads for, and not making a single penny, about to spend hundreds more, JUST to keep it a safe space for everyone who’s trusting me.

Because it feels right.

(And I’m considering it my tithing so, it just makes sense).

When I look at it from that perspective, I see what a radical thing it is to do.
I pay people what I think they should be charging, not what they’re actually charging (if I perceive a discrepancy). Consistently.

I always pay full price. I always overtip.

I have the opposite mentality of “how much can I get from this person?” and it shows. It shows in my bank account. In my relationships. In my community.

And I can understand why someone would be suspicious of that. I exist in a radical way.

Because people just don’t do things like that.

But I am a radical.

I’m proud to lead by example.

So if that means I am met with skepticism… eh. Teeny tiny thing to overcome in relation to walking my path.
