If the world feels like it’s on fire right now, it’s because in a lot of ways, it is.

Headlines are screaming. Banks are twitching. Algorithms are having meltdowns. (And some politicians are basically live-action meme characters at this point.) It would be very easy to let fear grab the steering wheel and slam the gas pedal straight into panic.

But here’s the reality glitch you probably weren’t taught: when fear runs the show, your power to actually shape your life goes offline. Not because you’re broken. Not because you’re “negative.” Because fear hijacks the part of your brain that makes creative, future-shaping decisions and replaces it with survival-mode reflexes. You stop building. You start bracing.

Here’s the trap almost everyone falls into. They think they need to fix the fear before they can move. They think they need to wait until it feels safe before they choose anything different.

But that’s backwards.

The truth is this: sovereignty doesn’t show up after you feel safe. Sovereignty is what creates the safety. It’s the only way you stay awake when everything around you is trying to hypnotize you into smallness, helplessness, and staying exactly where you are.

So if you feel scared, good. It means you’re awake. Your body is working. But don’t hand fear the keys and let it drive you in circles. Because even in the middle of chaos, you are still the one holding the controls.

You’re still the one choosing:
⚡ What you move toward
⚡ What you amplify
⚡ What story you actually make true

Quick reality check for today. Ask yourself:

• Where am I letting fear narrate the story?

• Where am I bracing instead of building?

• What tiny move would remind me that I still have a say?

Because you do. You always do. Even now. Especially now.
