Feb 06, 2026

As I learn more and more about the incredible world of building generational wealth, some things become CRYSTAL clear and so apparent I feel embarrassed that I missed them the first time round.

Firstly, following my free spirit and desire to stay in creation mode was incredibly liberating AND…

Created a business that had no legs.

My disinterest in re-teaching courses I’ve created, led to me torpedoing all momentum built from the launch of that program. In that, every time I created a new course, I was starting a new business. And instead of growing that one, I burned it down as soon as it was finished (often with spectacular results) only to start again.

Should I have forced myself to re-teach something when doing so feels like death to me?

No.

But there were plenty of other options rather than just burn it down. Hindsight = 20/20.

ALSO, once I launched my first successful group program back in 2019, I made enough money
to live on for the rest of the year, and it started destroying my ability to try new strategies.

And - to my great fortune and misfortune simultaneously- every course I launched after that was ALSO a success. 2021 & 2022 were such successful years for me, I didn’t really have to work in 2023.

This set me up for huge disappointment- my ability to experience things not going perfectly the first time plummeted.

My willingness to try new techniques and strategies dissolved (I would say overnight, but it actually took 2 years 😆)

Which means my callouses to trying several different iterations before giving up dissolved into a heart that bled with failure and shame, when things shifted for me in 2024.

2025 was my most successful year since 2021, but man. It took patience. Trial and error. More trials. More errors. Conversations. Questions. Late night chats with Kazaam. Coaches. Coaches. And more coaches.

My ability to iterate started to return.

Now I have the awareness that it is INCREDIBLY UNLIKELY for things to go right the first time. That my Midas touch and ability to manifest really screwed me over when it came to experiencing reality.

This is to remind you: if things don’t go right the first, second, third or fourth time, it doesn’t mean it’s a sign from the heavens.

It doesn’t mean you’re off base.

If it feels right, collect the data about what didn’t work, and pivot. Try a new iteration.

And for heaven’s sake: if you love what you’ve created, find a way to keep it going. Train a person to take over. Hire a marketer to create a funnel. Hire a reach out guy to keep the thing going and growing.

Don’t spend 12 years starting a new business every 6 months like I did 🫣😆💜
