1. Not a patient person or losing trust in the process?

2. How do I remove limiting beliefs? 

Limiting beliefs are actually built into the brain matter (heck! They ARE brain matter). Your brain cells have been constructed in pathways that support and reinforce the limiting beliefs. THE ONLY WAY that I have found in my 10+ years of doing this work (and I know ALL the modalities, lemme tell ya') is through hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). There is a process called "timeline therapy" within NLP that removes a limiting belief in 15 minutes or less. 

This can be done in a group (and I do them often, very effectively) or it can be done 1:1. If you didn't have a chance to check out my video on how the brain works, check it out here ➝ . I go deep into explaining how and why limiting beliefs work.

 

3. What to do when sabotage shows up? 

There are two main ways to handle sabotage, and it will depend on how it's showing up, as to what you do about it. 

If you have definitively lost the will, desire or interest to do what you are "supposed" to be doing and you feel uninspired and have NO ideas about moving forward, stop, put it down, and go do something else for a while. You need a break from it. Go do something fun. Laugh. Play. spend time with someone or something that you love. If you feel like quitting, quit! For the night. For the weekend. For the week. Just give yourself full permission to unquit when you feel better and for heaven's sake, DON'T TELL ANYONE you're quitting, especially your community! I can't tell you the amount of times I've completely QUIT my business. Then a couple of days later, I feel reenergized, I giggle at myself, and dust myself off and move on. 

If, on the other hand, you feel uninspired, disinterested, and apathetic or overwhelmed and you have creative ideas, divine inspirations, and have a pretty good idea what to do next WHATEVER IT TAKES ... DO IT!!! This is you hitting up against your upper limit and your brain trying to sabotage you. The only way to raise your upper limit is to keep doing the things that got you there, especially when you don't feel like it. Do it 20 mins at a time and set a timer. Bribe yourself by allowing yourself your favorite treat activity or TV show after you've done it (or at least worked on it). Ask for support. Ask for council. Ask someone to sit next to you and feed you grapes while you do it, just do it!!

 

4. What to do if you are no closer to a goal than you were when you started?

BE CAREFUL with this one. One of the brain's favorite and most effective sabotage mechanisms is to make you "forget" where you started, make you "blind" to what is working and make you only "see" the challenges or what's not working. THIS IS SABOTAGE. 

Start by evaluating where actually were you when you started. Does it feel like you’re not closer or are you really not. E.g. With money: what was your average income when you started? Add up last three months, divide by three: what was your average income? DO NOT explain away any sudden money influxes - those are the process working! Where have you grown? What has changed in you since you started? Be very intentional about noticing the differences. If you see that you actually HAVE changed and grown (even if it's not as "much" as you expected or as "fast" as you would've liked), point directly at your mind and say "HA! Sneaky! I see what you're tying to do." and get right back to it! If you can't seem to drum up the motivation, watch this video first  and then get back to it! 

If, on the other hand, you can see logically and intuitively that you really haven't made any progress towards that particular goal, it's usually one of two things.

Either you have some major limiting beliefs that are creating absolute blocks in your progress or it's something about the way the goals and action steps are structured. Your mind is not ready to achieve this goal, you don’t actually want it, it’s too high, and you have to chunk it down, the action steps you picked for this goal don’t actually work towards your goal or something technical. You can check in with intuition to see what to adjust.

5. What to do when trauma shows up 

Trauma shows up because your mind is ready to heal and release it. It can be really jarring, especially if it is showing up as frequent emotional outbursts or sudden mood swings, but it's actually an AMAZING thing. You're ready!! You're ready for the next evolution of your life! YAY!!! Even if you do feel a little crazy, while it's happening. 

There are LOTS of things you can do. 

First, I recommend watching this class What Do I Do With All These Pesky Emotions?  It's free! And in it I teach the most powerful emotional clearing technique that has ever existed (and no, I didn't make it up! It's a 5,000 year old Hindi healing process). This will give you back your mind and body and allow you to tap into your deeper tool reserves of strength, creative problem-solving, intuition and even logic. 

Next, you are going to need an emotional support person to help you heal (hint: not your partner, your friends or your parents). Some kind of therapist, coach, hypnotherapist etc. I highly recommend my hypnotherapists (obvi) because I trained them personally and spent a year pouring into them everything I know. 

I also have a 6 month program designed specifically to help you heal from your trauma. 

If you don't have a lot of extra cash right now, then check with your insurance provider for the best option, and scour the internet for free support materials. You can find LOTS that I have created here . 

Bottom line, if trauma is coming up, you are ready to begin the next (or first!) phase of your healing journey. And that's a VERY good thing

 

6. Tap into intuition 

Intuition will take you on the fastest route to your goals. Always. It will lead you on the path that will get you the most expansion, the most resources (aka money), the most experiences and the most impact. 100% of the time.

7. Getting accountability 

The last thing I want to say is accountability is key! Did you know that about 60% of people would not make ANY changes at all if they didn't have someone keeping them accountable? Obviously, that statistic is higher the higher up you climb because of the level of resistance you hit on the way! 

Sometimes we just need to know someone cares if we do it. 

Sometimes we just need to know someone EXPECTS us to do it!

Get yourself an accountability person. A friend, a peer who is on the same level as you, a group of people who all have the same goals, a coach... someone! 

It will be much easier to get where you want to go with someone to hold you accountable for your actions.
